I am a tax partner at Deloitte Switzerland, where I lead the National Tax Office and oversee the firm's Private Client and Family Office tax offering. I am also a member of the Tax & Legal Strategic Committee (Executive Board). Furthermore, I serve as a part-time judge at the Zurich Tax Appeals Court ("Steuerrekursgericht"). I have 20 years of experience in Swiss and international tax matters, and a proven track record of anticipating and analysing the impact of international tax developments on Swiss tax legislation. As a recognised tax specialist, I am regularly quoted in prestigious newspapers such as the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) and the Financial Times. 

 

Prior to joining Deloitte, I worked for one of the other Big4 firms in Switzerland and was the Deputy Head of Group Tax of an international banking group headquartered in Switzerland.

 

I frequently deliver presentations at national and international tax conferences and universities, and I chair EXPERTsuisse's tax accounting and reporting certificate course, as well as SwissAccounting's Pillar Two certificate course. I frequently publish articles on tax topics and have (co-)authored several books on transfer pricing, tax accounting and reporting, and Pillar Two, all of which offer a strong Swiss perspective.

 

I represent Deloitte Switzerland in the EXPERTsuisse tax group and on the Professional Affairs Committee of CFE Tax Advisers Europe, the leading organisation for tax advisers in Europe.

 

I am also an examiner for the Swiss Certified Tax Experts examinations and a member of EXPERTsuisse, the International Fiscal Association (IFA), SwissAccounting and the Swiss Association of Judges.
